Stockport Homes Group (SHG) is excited to announce the appointment of Alistair Chapman as the new Chair of the Viaduct Housing Partnership Board. Alistair brings a wealth of experience and local insight to the role, having lived in Stockport for eight years and played a key role in the town’s regenerative transformation over the past decade.
Alistair Chapman currently serves as Executive Director in the Development Advisory Team at CBRE UK, where he has a proven track record of advising on development strategy and delivery both in the Northwest and across the UK. His extensive expertise will be invaluable in driving forward Viaduct Housing’s mission to provide high-quality, affordable homes for the Stockport community.
In his new role as Chair, Alistair is set to leverage his sector knowledge and deep passion for affordable housing to ensure that Viaduct Housing continues to meet the growing demand for housing, particularly at a time when the housing shortage across the UK is at an all-time high.
I am delighted to be the next Chair and utilise my sector knowledge and passion for affordable housing and the Borough. The housing shortage in the UK is at an all-time high, and we have the opportunity to develop new homes and help to increase supply when it is needed the most.
