On Friday, Viaduct Housing Partnership officially opened a new supported housing scheme at Grafton Street in Heaton Norris.
The development, which is VHP’s first supported new build scheme, will include 11 one-bed flats for affordable rent and will be managed 24/7 by appointed support provider SENSE.
The event had a fantastic turn out with Councillors, Board Members, staff, tenants, local residents and partners invited to celebrate the official opening of the development.
Guests had the chance to have a look around the development.
Cllr Jude Wells, Cabinet Member for Adult Care & Health, said
What a fantastic scheme, well done to everyone who has been involved in creating Viaduct Housing Partnership’s first supported accommodation. I hope all the new tenants settle into their new homes.
Chair of the Viaduct Housing Partnership board Ken Lee said,
Congratulations to everyone involved in the Grafton Street development, I am extremely proud of Viaduct Housing Partnership and I am excited for what the future holds.
