Viaduct Housing Partnership celebrates development

Viaduct Housing Partnership officially opened Bredbury Curve development in Bredbury, by hosting a ‘Meet the neighbours’ event.

The event had a fantastic turn out with Councillors, Board Members, staff and partners and customers invited to celebrate the official opening of the development, which together comprise 60 properties.

Guests had the chance to have a look around one of the properties and meet their neighbours.

The development includes a mix of 48 two, three and four bedroom homes and twelve two bedroom apartments for Shared Ownership and Affordable rent.

The children from St Mark’s Church of England Primary School were invited to take part in a competition to name one of the new roads, apartment block and close. The winning names are ‘Carriage Road’, ‘The Railway House’ and ‘Station Close’, The winners were awarded love2shop vouchers.

Chair of the Viaduct Housing Partnership Board Ken Lee, said

This is a fantastic scheme, and I would like to congratulate everyone involved in building this community. I hope all the new residents have settled in well. I’m excited to see what the future holds.
