Viaduct Housing Partnership celebrated the official opening of Bulkeley Street development in Edgeley, Stockport on 19th October.
This new development is available for affordable rent and provides twenty new homes for families in the borough. Of the 20 properties, 12 are two bedroomed houses, built to keep in with the existing style of properties in the area.
The remaining properties are six, 1 bedroomed apartments and two, two bedroomed adapted apartments. These properties are in a self-contained apartment block called Sykes Court, which was named by local school children from St Matthews Primary School. The children were asked to come up with a name for the development based on local landmarks or features.
Viaduct are proud to be delivering these new homes in conjunction with Wiggett Construction.
Councillor Sheila Bailey, cabinet member for communities & housing at Stockport Council said,
